Locals Star In GEORGE M! At The Westchester Broadway Theatre, 6/7 - 7/1

When George M! opens at the Westchester Broadway Theatre this Thursday, June 7, it will be adorned with a little local flair! Four members of this fantastic cast are Hudson Valley locals! Melodie Wolford, of Putnam Valley, who plays Nellie Cohan (George's mom) is a teacher at the Peekskill Movement Center. Victoria Dennis (nine years old) plays the Little Girl, which isn't her first role at the Westchester Broadway Theatre; she played Annie in Big River, she also will appear at the Apollo Theatre this Summer. Gabriella Palminteri, (ten years old) from Bedford, who alternates in the role of Little Girl, is also no stranger to the WBT stage, Last year she appeared in the Musical, Suessical as Mrs. Mayor. Colin Pritchard, of Harrison, is returning to the stage at the Westchester Broadway Theatre, the ensemble member of George M!, was most recently seen in our 2005 production of Sugar.

Harrison….Colin Pritchard (Ensemble) a Westchester native, is honored to share the stage with such a fine cast, and delighted to be back at WBT, having last been seen here in Sugar. Some favorite credits: Bobby in Crazy for You, Cosmo in Singin' in the Rain, Freddy in Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, George in The Drowsy Chaperone, Bobby in A Chorus Line; 42nd Street (US/Japan revival tour). Other regional includes: Goodspeed, TUTS, Fulton.

Putnam Valley…. Melodie Wolford (Nellie Cohan) is pleased to return to Broadway Westchester Theatre for her 4th show. Last summer she performed at The Weathervane Theatre playing a variety of roles including Rona in SPELLING BEE, Paulette in LEGALLY BLONDE and Mrs. Paroo in MUSIC MAN. She has toured the country with LA CAGE AUX FOLLES and 42nd STREET and has been seen Off-Broadway as Mrs. Winemiller in SUMMER AND SMOKE and in MENOPAUSE THE MUSICAL. Melodie teaches tap in Peekskill at The Energy Movement Center and dedicates this performance to all her future tap dancers.

Mt. Kisco…. Victoria Dennis: is 9 years old and thrilled to be returning to the WBT. Recent credits include Big River at the WBT, Annie (Pepper) and The Sound of Music (Briggita) Bedford Stage and more. Victoria has appeared on Nickelodeon and PBS. Victoria will be performing at the World Famous Apollo Theater this July 2012. She thanks her sister Bella, family, friends and WBT for all the love and support. Victoria attends West Patent Elementary in Mount Kisco NY where she resides as well.

Bedford….. Gabriella Palminteri – (Little Girl) is thrilled to be back on stage at the Westchester Broadway Theater in GEORGE M! Last year Gabriella appeared in the Summer Season of SEUSSICAL as Mrs. Mayor. Previous credits include Grease (Sally), Alice in Wonderland (Alice), Aladdin (Jasmine), Cats (Demeter), Annie (Annie) & Les Miserables (Little Cossette). Film credits include Noel and Balletomane. Gabriella would like to thank her parents, John and Gigi for all of their love and support Gabriella is 10 years old and attends Bedford Village Elementary School and lives in Bedford, NY.
