White Plains Performing Arts Center's Conservatory Theatre has announced the return of their highly-acclaimed, fully staged production of THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW, featuring the young professional members of the Conservatory Theatre program. The original production last season sold out, so this year a midnight performance was added as well as some new cast members who joined the original team.

White Plains Performing Arts Center is located at 11 City Place in the heart of downtown White Plains and serves as the perfect backdrop for this exciting theatrical event. It's a pleasant 30-minute train ride from Grand Central Station and the easily accessible venue provides plentiful stress-free parking adjacent to the City Center complex. WPPAC is also nestled between several fine local restaurants all within a short walk. The theater itself boasts excellent acoustics, expertly designed tiered seating and a sleek interior décor ensuring the audience a first-class viewing experience.

The Rocky Horror Show synopsis - On the way to visit an old college professor, two clean cut young people, Brad Majors and his fiancée Janet Weiss, run into trouble and seek help at the freaky Frankenstein mansion. However, little did they know that the mansion is inhabited by alien transsexuals from the planet Transylvania and Dr. Frank N Furter is in the midst of one of his maniacal experiments. The production features the original, well-known songs of this cult classic including: "Damn It Janet", "The Time Warp", "Sweet Transvestite" and "Hot Patootie" among others, led by a live 5 – piece rock band.

The production is directed by WPPAC Artistic Director Jeremy Quinn of Yonkers with Musical Direction by George Croom (Mt. Vernon) and Choreography by Linda Duci (Mahopac).
