Last night, Carnegie Hall debuted its first-ever Virtual Opening Night Gala Celebration, inviting music lovers worldwide to mark the Hall’s 130th anniversary season, honoring its illustrious past and looking to the future.

Tonight, Carnegie Hall opened its 2018-2019 season with a sold out gala benefit concert featuring the San Francisco Symphony conducted by Music Director and Carnegie Hall Perspectives artist Michael Tilson Thomas. The program included Gershwin's Cuban Overture and An American in Paris as well as Liszt's Mephisto Waltz No. 1. Mr. Tilson Thomas and the orchestra were joined on this celebratory occasion by renowned sopranos Renee Fleming and Audra McDonald offering vocal selections by Gershwin, Rodgers, Villa-Lobos, Stephen Sondheim, and others.

The Orchestra of St. Luke's (OSL) will honor its Principal Conductor, Pablo Heras-Casado, and the Chairman of The Bay & Paul Foundations, David Bury, at its annual Gift of Music Gala on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at The Plaza Hotel. The event will feature a special performance by 2016 Grammy Award-winning mezzo-soprano Isabel Leonard with Pablo Heras-Casado and the Orchestra of St. Luke's, and will be hosted by mezzo-soprano and OSL board member Susan Graham.

On Friday, November 13th, 2015 STAGES St. Louis celebrated the countdown to its 30th Anniversary Season at its fourteenth annual Applause! Gala, a benefit to support the organization's Education and Artistic Programs. Applause! 2015 raised proceeds of over $320,000. This year's numbers came on the heels of a spectacular 29th Season, which exceeded revenue goals with nearly $2 million in ticket sales.
